Why do we work with this cancellation policy?
To make our tastings extra special, we start preparing long before you arrive. We want to have the best wines, the artisanal Portuguese cheeses, the delicious charcuterie at your table and the best local sommeliers at your service. A lot of the producers we work with don’t use emails – some of them don’t even know what that is. They do it the old fashion way. That means more flavour and authenticity at your table, but it also means it is more difficult and it takes more time to get these special products. Larger groups require more intensive logistics and sourcing, which is why our cancellation windows vary by group size.

Partial Cancellations: The same timelines apply to individual spots cancelled within a larger booking.

Third-Party Costs: Any non-recoverable costs already paid by us on your behalf will be deducted from refunds.

External Factors: We are not responsible for flight delays, strikes, or weather. Weather conditions are not considered a valid reason to cancel a tasting.

If We Cancel: In the rare event we must cancel, you will receive the choice of a full refund or rescheduling. Lisbon Winery is not responsible for any incidental expenses the client may have incurred with the tasting.

Refunds will be done to the PayPal or credit card accounts used by the customer to book and the client must pay all the fees that may apply.

Alcohol, Age & Conduct

Legal Age: In accordance with Portuguese law, all participants must be at least 18 years old.

No Minors: Tastings are strictly reserved for adults. Children and minors are not permitted to attend tastings, including as non-drinking companions. Lisbon Winery reserves the right to refuse entry to any booking that includes minors. In such cases, standard cancellation policies apply.

Pregnant participants: Pregnant participants or individuals with medical conditions affected by alcohol consumption should inform Lisbon Winery in advance and participate at their own discretion.

Responsible Drinking: We promote a safe, enjoyable environment. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or behaves inappropriately.

Safety First: Please do not drive after your tasting. We recommend arranging a taxi or ride-share service.
